My name is Anna Lacey, and I'm here to help. Trauma casts a dark shadow over life, limiting what we see and how we interpret what we experience. I have worked in the mental health arena for my entire adult life. I grew up in a distressed family system, and it was necessary for me to create a path to healing in order to have a life worth living. I lost a sister to mental illness, so I know firsthand how important it is to address trauma and addiction as well as to create healthy relationships. Nothing is more important to me than passing on what I have learned. I am currently the Clinical Director of a Mental Health Clinic in Sonoma, California.

If you're worried about the awkward nature of therapy, you're in luck! My style is extremely relational, so it will simply feel like we are having interesting, heart-felt conversations that will go deeper as you become more comfortable. You are in control, and I'm here to provide a safe spot to reflect, learn, and at times, to laugh. I incorporate mindfulness and self-compassion in therapy sessions and utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Internal Family Systems Therapy. Therapy can be intense, but it can also be a comforting space for nonjudgmental self-exploration and growth.

Specialized therapy for complex trauma survivors. I am here to support a decrease in shame and an increase in self-empowerment. This can often include support with addiction.
